Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 large jar Ragu Traditional sauce
- OR 1 12-oz can Hunts whole tomatoes and 1 6-oz Hunts tomato paste
- 3 cups Ricotta cheese
- 1 12-16 oz bag mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 2 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 package lasagna noodles (can use no-cook noodles)
Directions:
- Cook onion and garlic in oil until transparent. Add beef and cook until no longer pink. Add tomato sauce (or tomato & paste), salt, pepper, and sugar.
- In lasagna pan put one scoop of sauce on bottom of the pan.
- Layer ingredients: noodles, 1/2 of Ricotta, 1/3 of mozzarella, sprinkle of parmesan, and some basil & oregano. Repeat layers. Top with noodles, sauce, mozzarella, basil, and oregano.
- Bake at 375 F for 30-40 min or until done. Let stand 10 min.
