Thelma Zimmer's Green Pear Salad

Directions:

  1. Drain 1 can pears, reserve liquid
  2. Heat liquid to boiling and pour over 1 package lemon jello
  3. Stir, chill until partly set
  4. User electric mixer to beat 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese with 2 tsp milk until smooth
  5. Add jello mixture and blend. Chill until partly thickened.
  6. Mash pears and drain. Whip 1 cup whipping cream until stiff, fold in pears and whipped cream into jello mixture. 8" pan. Chill until set.
