Whiskey Cake

Mix together:
bundt cake style with cherries and nuts on top

  • 1 package Duncan Hines pineapple cake mix (don't use any other cake mix)
  • 1 package vanilla instant pudding
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup crisco oil
  • 1/2 cup nuts (optional)

Directions:
  1. Grease and flour tube pan. Place 8 cherry halves on bottom of pan. Sprinkle nuts over cherries. Pout in batter. Bake 375 F; 50 minutes to an hour
  2. Combine 1/2 stick of margarine, melted with 1/4 cup of sugar, one jigger rye whiskey.
  3. After cake has cooled 5 minutes, drizzle 1/2 of above mixture on warm cake. wait 15 minutes, turn cake upside down onto plate. Drizzle remainder of mixture over cake. let cool.
  4. If unable to find cake mix, use one box yellow cake mix, and one teaspoon pineapple flavoring.
